Under a bridge in the centre of Podgorica, the body of a high-ranking member of a criminal organization is found. The case lands in the hands of inspector Salo and his partner Ratimir. It couldn’t have happened at a worse time for Salo, who is dealing with numerous personal issues. He’s been suffering from anger outbursts lately, which hasn’t slipped the eye of the media. Mortgage, a relationship in tatters, and the complicated case he can’t wrap his head around swirl in a feverish vortex, at the centre of which Salo is struggling to keep his composure. While cruising the streets trying to break the case, the detectives get a call that changes the rules of the game. This urban thriller won the FEDEORA Award and a Jury Special Mention at the Herceg Novi – Montenegro Film Festival.

Born in Podgorica in 1987. He graduated in Film and TV Directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje. As assistant director, he has worked on numerous projects, including The Kids from the Marx and Engels Street (Nikola Vukčević, 2014) and Life Is a Trumpet (Antonio Nuić, 2015). Lowdown is his first feature film.
