Irishman John McBurney (Coiln Farrell) is a mercenary fighting for the North in the American Civil War. He is found severely wounded in the forest by a young girl, Amy, who takes him to a female boarding school. His arrival arouses repressed passions, which John cunningly uses to his advantage. When the girls expose his proclivity for seduction, there is a dark twist.
