Ernesto is a well-respected hunting guide in Patagonia, where he lives with his new family. After the death of his ex-wife, he had to take in his son, whom he hasn’t seen in over ten years. Nahuel is a troublesome and mercurial teenager, who, pained by his mother’s death, suffers from violent bouts of rage, which got him expelled from school. In the Patagonian wilderness, the father tries hard to tame his son’s explosive character, heal the wounds between them, and teach him respect towards people and nature. The film premiered at the Venice International Film Critics’ Week and won the Audience Award.
