A group of war veterans from three rival armies of former Yugoslav countries meets in an isolated mountain hotel. The purpose of this meeting is group therapy aiming to resolve issues from the violent past, heal war traumas, and overcome deep-rooted feelings of animosity. A whirlwind of emotions and confrontations is created, in which old feelings of hostility resurface. The debut feature of director Alen Drljević is an explosive drama about prejudice, trauma, and a crisis of masculinity, inspired by the director’s personal experience of participating in both the war and such group therapy. The film had a successful premiere at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, where it won the Europa Cinemas Label Award and Special Jury Mention.
